Ask about it on some employment web sites in the country where you are interested to work. Anyway, working in Marketing I suppose it's better for you, but not mandatory, to know some more specific about those people's country (customs, tastes, history, etc.) Anyhow the ways of doing marketing research and publicity are the same everywhere. They may not be very efficient in less developed countries or those in course of development (as I know by my own experience). There is better in such countries to have knowledge about those specific markets, as I said above, for don't have expensive nonsense researches or publicity. A U.K. Diploma should be GOOD everywhere. And any Diploma you may have is a good asset for you further. But nothing can compensate your own work experience. I know someone who accomplished a PBC (Professional Business Counsellor) Diploma without having any work experience and now is in Court for bad management in many issues like signing bad contracts (in energy) for Government . . . Experience is the best Chef !!!
