I've a Bsc in Electronic Engineering, doing my Msc in Ryerson U canada in telecommunication can i get a job?
alright i want to be straight, i want honest expert answers. I did my Undergrad in Electronics Engineering in Iran. and I am doing my Masters in Ryerson University Toronto Canada in Telecommunication. I dont think i have learned that much all together, my grades are good so far but not much hands on exprience so far. I am worried that job market is stinking in Canada, and Engineers seem to end up jobless, do you guys think i will be working in Burger King by the time i graduate? if so What do you suggest I study? what certifications do u think i should get? Someone suggested that i start from the scratch and study pharmacology because pharmacists seem 2 get great jobs fast, do you find it a good idea to do that after 7 years of engineering education? I am getting crazy someone help me please

To get a job in Canada, you dont need education... unfortunately you need REFERENCES...

don't know your age so i cannot recommend changing field is feasible. as the other poster had said, reference is important. there should be plenty of jobs around, phone companies, building services, a lot of engineers are needed for configuration, planning and maintenance. you may not be able to get into the cutting edge of the industry the first step, but things will happen over time if you don't give up. there is no shame doing macjob, hang on to it until you get a better offer. it may also help that you get some part time work in your area of study before you finish your degree or try volunteer in some research projects, that makes you stand out amongst other fresh grad ...

You will find that profiling ethnicities is a waste of time in these cases, because anyone of any ethnicity would be willing to purchase the items you mentioned. Stick to the benefits of owning the products and their emotional impact on the audience. The decision to buy is based almost entirely on that emotional importance.

ok Done. I am not a material person so some were hard for me to answer. I don't watch tv at all, so that would not be a factor. good luck.

If I had to pick a career between a 'computer network engineer' and 'satellite communications engineer'

If I had to pick a career between a 'computer network engineer' and 'satellite communications engineer'?
After I complete the degree I can either take things like CCNA MCSE and get into the networking field. Or follow a MSc in RF engineering and become a satellite engineer. Considering the future job market and pay what would you recommend?

pretty sure satellite communications will give you the best pay in the long run - however you may have to start at the bottom and work your way up you know? this might not be the case with the networking. there will undoubtedly be a job market in both these fields in the future, so i don't think that should sway your decision much i would personally go for the satellite communications - better pay ;) good luck. xx

2
My guess is that satellite engineer would require more on-site and hardware work than a network engineer, so it depends upon if you prefer office work or field work.

Satellite career is hard to break into but is truely worth it

I'd recommend you become a plumber ! If pay is your only criteria !

2
Satellite Communications Engineer. The market is flooded with CCNA and MCSE. If you can get both (major / minor), you'd have two resumes with twice the chance of getting hired. T
